Our story
Meera came to Dubai from Kochi in 2011 and spent eight years at a busy mall salon. Clients booked by phone, walk-ins filled the gaps, and a 4 pm appointment often started at 4:40. Nobody planned it that way; the diary was a notebook at the desk and the phone never stopped.
In 2019 she opened Sorrel in Jumeirah Lake Towers with four chairs, two nail stations and one rule: a booked time is kept. We take only as many bookings as we have chairs, every price is on the website before you arrive, and the diary lives online so the desk can see the whole day at a glance.
The name is an old word for a warm reddish-brown, the first colour Meera ever mixed as a trainee. We're still small on purpose: five people who know most of our clients by name.

Your time is kept
We book only as many clients as we have chairs, so you start within ten minutes of your time.

Prices before you sit
Every price is online and includes VAT. Anything extra is agreed before we start.

A patch test before first colour
A free 15-minute consultation, at least 48 hours before your first colour with us.
- 04
Clean, every client
Tools cleaned between clients. New nail files and buffers for every manicure.
- 05
Ladies only, and private
A screened styling room for anyone who prefers more privacy. Just ask when you book.

Not right? We fix it
Tell us within seven days and we'll put it right, free.
